ERPC relocates Geyser gRPC shared endpoints into the core Solana network. Direct Shredstream data source integration in AMS and FRA enhances speed and stability

2025.10.10
ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, Netherlands, CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) and Validators DAO have completed a major relocation of ERPC’s Solana Geyser gRPC shared endpoints. The Amsterdam (AMS) and Frankfurt (FRA) endpoints have been moved into the same segment as the core Solana network, now operating in a topology directly connected to the Shredstream data source. This relocation has significantly improved both latency and overall stream stability.

Background

ERPC continuously optimizes Solana network communication paths and strives to deliver the best possible connection quality. Following the recent introduction of ping-based automatic routing, latency and load balancing across the platform have been optimized, resulting in improved stability across all connection types.
This relocation represents the final stage of that optimization process. By positioning the gRPC shared endpoints directly within the core network and minimizing physical distance from the data source, the previously implemented Shredstream feed architecture can now deliver its full potential performance.

Technical details of the upgrade

All gRPC shared endpoints utilize a structure that directly feeds UDP-based data streams from Shredstream. While UDP enables extremely fast communication, it can be inherently unstable in certain network environments.
To mitigate this, the endpoints have now been relocated into the same network as the Shredstream data source, major Solana validators, and the Jito Block Engine. This close-proximity design minimizes transmission fluctuation and dramatically increases overall stability across all gRPC streams.
Both the Amsterdam and Frankfurt regions have also recently undergone node expansions. The new configuration sustains stable throughput even under high traffic and concurrent connection loads.
With this relocation, the Premium Ryzen VPS and the shared gRPC endpoints now operate within the same network, achieving zero-distance communication for even greater performance.

Deprecation of old endpoints and migration procedure

To use the new endpoints, please remove your currently registered IP and register it again. Once the registration is complete, a new endpoint URL will be automatically assigned and can be used immediately.
The following old endpoints will be discontinued on Monday, October 13, 2025. Please complete your migration before the cutoff date.
  • grpc-ams-1.erpc.global
  • grpc-fra-1.erpc.global
This upgrade delivers improved stability and further reduced average latency in both the AMS and FRA regions. We apologize for any inconvenience during the migration period and appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance the quality of the ERPC network environment.

Solana RPC Bundle Plan

Bundle Plan
The Bundle Plan offers RPC, gRPC, and Shredstream together as a single, unified package. Existing users of RPC or gRPC can switch to the Bundle and gain access to Shredstream at no additional cost—an ideal option for real-world testing and production deployments with flexible scaling.
You can maintain your existing gRPC-based applications while progressively adopting Shredstream for higher performance. This provides a practical configuration for developers and operators alike, making it the new standard plan for Solana projects.

Premium Ryzen VPS

Premium Ryzen VPS
Operating on the same network as ERPC, the Premium Ryzen VPS features a 5.7GHz high-clock CPU—the fastest in its class—along with ECC DDR5 memory, NVMe4 storage, and dual 25Gbps network interfaces. With a no-overcommitment policy, it delivers bare-metal level consistency and performance within a virtualized environment.
Deployed in the same data centers as Jito Shredstream and major Solana validators, this zero-distance configuration eliminates internet-induced latency. Combining high computational power with optimal network performance, the Premium Ryzen VPS has been highly acclaimed by developers worldwide.

Challenges solved by ERPC and Validators DAO

  • Transaction failures and latency fluctuations in RPC environments
  • Performance throttling by many infrastructure providers
  • Significant impact of network distance on communication quality
  • Difficulty for smaller projects to access high-quality infrastructure
During the development of Epics DAO, an open-source Solana NFT card game project, we faced the challenge of building a fast, reliable Solana development environment that was not readily available. To solve this, we built our own platform and later released ERPC and SLV based on that expertise.
Financial and mission-critical applications are especially sensitive to latency and errors, which directly affect user experience. In Solana’s distributed validator ecosystem and Web3 environments, overall visibility is limited, and many projects struggle with instability and delayed response times.
We are committed to providing the high-performance foundation developers need, contributing to both developer and end-user experience improvements across the Solana ecosystem. Both ERPC and SLV play integral roles in this effort.
