Solana Direct Shreds - Confronto di velocità
slv check geyserbench è un comando di benchmark per Solana che permette di confrontare le prestazioni di Shredstream, gRPC e RPC. Scegli il tipo di connessione, inserisci gli endpoint che vuoi confrontare e la CLI mostrerà win rate, p50, p95, p99, ping, firsts e backfill in un unico report.
Per prima cosa, l'installazione

Perché è importante misurare per regione
Solana è globale e i leader si alternano durante la produzione dei blocchi. Poiché la velocità di propagazione dei dati dipende da quanto sei vicino al leader di turno, le regioni più vicine agli slot dei leader possono ricevere i dati più velocemente. Per questo un confronto regione per regione offre un quadro più accurato rispetto alle sole medie globali.
Questo è particolarmente utile per le app globali e per i carichi di lavoro a latenza molto bassa, come il trading ad alta frequenza, dove anche solo 1 ms in meno fa la differenza.
